On the top right hand side of the site, click on "Create Your Own Green Store". A pop-up window will ask you to Sign In. If you have a Greenwala account, then use your email and password to Sign In. If you do not have a Greenwala account, then click "Join Now" and register for Greenwala. After you have entered the necessary information click "Get Started".
No, there is no fee. It is free to create and to start selling. So if you have an Amazon and/or an Ebay store, there is no reason why you shouldn't have a Greenwala store as well. We will process the credit card and take a commission.
The commission to Greenwala at this time is 20%.
We will send you a check once a month by the end of the month less the 20% commission for all orders placed before the 10th of the month. All orders after the 10th will be sent the following month.

Yes, but we recommend that you limit it to things like press logos or certifications. You will have the ability to add more pictures in your product media gallery when you add products to your store. To add images, use the edit bar image that looks like a tree.
Yes, just like Ebay or Amazon you will ship your own products. After people place an order you will receive a notification giving you the details. In Step 3 you will have the ability to create your own shipping options.

Yes, but all stores must be approved by the Greenwala team before your store goes live in the Marketplace. Approval takes 24-48 hours.
After creating a store you can click "Manage Your Store". After you add at least one product to your store you, click on "Submit Store for Approval".
Stores will typically be approved in 24-48 hours and you will get a confirmation once your store is approved.
Yes! We will promote your store on our @greenwala Twitter account, our Facebook page and in our newsletter.

Yes. You can't do that on Amazon. Once you create your store, you will be able to Add A Service. So if you are a Green Consultant, you can sell an hour or a block of your time. It's the same as selling a product. If you are a Yoga Studio not only can you sell your products, but you can also sell your class.
You can do two things: 1.) Select the category that best matches your product. 2.) Send an email to marketplace@greenwala.com with a suggested category and we can see what we can do. Please note that we will not be able to create a category just for you at this time.
Yes. Make the sure sections like description and specifications are simple to understand. We recommend a summary with bullets. Make sure to follow the FBI format. Features, Benefits, Incentive in the description area are a good idea. 5-6 bullet points are ideal. Adding a product to your store should only take about 10 minutes the first time.
Yes, after you click on "Manage Your Store" click on "Manage Shipping" to edit your shipping costs as required.
What we have populated is a starting point. Use that or create your own shipping method/option along with your own pricing by clicking on the New Shipping Method or edit the existing ones. NOTE: remember, you are responsible for shipping your item in a timely manner.
The concept is the same as Groupon. The difference is that this is an inventory based system completely in your control. To get started, select My Group Buying Deals from the Inventory tab. Then click Add New Group Buying Deal. Simply start by typing in the name of the product or service you want to offer as a deal. The system will auto populate the name of the product.
1) Make sure you fill out ALL the fields correctly with the right pricing and quantity. Once a deal starts and someone buys, you can't edit/delete the deal. 2) Remember that this is an inventory based system so only put the number of products you want to/can afford to sell. 30-50% discounts are ideal.
You set the length of your deal. We recommend that you limit it to no more than 2 weeks.

Yes. In the Manage Your Store area highlight the Inventory tab on the top and click on My Coupon Code. The click on Add A New Coupon Code and get started. NOTE: Make sure to put an end date for your code. You can always create new ones and/or edit this one to make it longer.
The Greenwala team will feature people randomly.
We have built a patent pending Advertising banner promotion system. Under Promotions, select My Greenwala Promotions and then Add New Promotion. Select the position you want, the section of the site you want it on and then hit submit. You will then be asked to select a date range. You will be the only AD on that part of the site for that day(s). Once you are ok with the price, go to name and billing and use a credit card to purchase your promotion time. You will need to upload your banner AD before final submission. For help, send an email to marketplace@greenwala.com.

You can use the drop down menu to select a category or use the search bar at the top of the site.
Search the marketplace for an item you are looking for and if you want to purchase an item, then click on "Buy Now". The item will then be added to your shopping cart. Once your shopping cart is open, click on "Proceed to Checkout" button or continue to shop.
