To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Christies held "A Bid to Save the Earth" Live Auction on April 22nd. Proceeds goes to four environmental organizations: Conservation International, Oceana, NRDC and Central Park Conservancy. A companion silent auction is available on Charitybuzz through May 6th at www.charitybuzz.com/abidtosavetheearth. The carbon neutral auction featured world-renowned works of art, exotic travel packages and unique celebrity experiences. Greenopolis TV host Melissa McGinnis worked the Green carpet, getting some tips from the stars!
