Hello, I'm Emily Polk, and these are your CSR Minute headlines for Monday, August 16th:

UDR, the real estate investment trust, has received LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its Belmont community in Dallas. The community of 464 homes was designed and engineered to use 20 percent less energy and 36 percent less water than a conventional apartment complex. The development is the first in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to receive LEED certification, and the most recent initiative in UDR's commitment to sustainability in construction of energy efficient housing.

The Producers Guild of America has launched a new, Web-based Green Production Guide. The interactive Web site contains a database of more than 1,500 listings of environmentally sensitive products and services from vendors nationwide. Disney, Fox, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Warner Bros. have provided funding to launch the effort as part of the PGA Green Initiative.
