martians a-go-go

Mr. a-go-go works for a local art museum. One of the summer installations was destined for the recycle and trash bins so he pulled out an assortment of green plastic bowls, cups and bits. From there we were inspired to be classic 1950's style martians. Other than the ping-pong ball eyes, green dye and green make-up everything came from items being tossed and/or from things we had on hand. The flannel was used to wrap an sculpture, the vinyl was wrappedaround columns and the plastic was on display as a part of Happy Happy. meep! meep!
