This year I'm enjoying making gift bows from old magazine pages. They're more interesting to look at than store-bought bows, save money, and are a great way to turn junk paper into something pretty. If you want to make your own, I posted instructions online here:

    I tried this with my niece over winter break and it was really fun. Not nearly as pretty as yours but got to spend some quality time making them with her.
