The World's First Electric Tandem Bike -- A Double Pedal Powered Delight Amped Up With Juice To Spare!

If you do just about everything with your main squeeze (including live-breathe-and-eat together) and yet you are still both enraptured with each other, then there's a great big two wheeled treat in store for you! 

Pedego has created a super cruisin' electric tandem bike that will fulfill the conjoined twin dreams of wildly compatible eco-soul mates -- one caveat, though -- just be prepared to cough up $2,300 for the priviledge.

It is natural to question why a vehicle of this nature is even necessary because twice as many legs should propel a conventional tandem bike at full throttle speed.

But, there are people out there who don't necessarily have a need for speed...they merely want to hit the wide open road with their honey, and perhaps a little electric oomph is nice at times.

Unlike the previously mentioned Mosquito e-bike or Chen Chun Tung's wind-solar concept ride, the tandem e-bike boasts not just one but TWO seats as well as a 750-watt motor and a 48-volt lithium manganese battery that lasts for 15,000 miles and costs less that a dime to rejuice.

It's seems like a novel concept, but I wonder how many people will go for it. Anyone in this community?
