Pebble, Moss & Wood Facial Landscapes

Some people put their best face forward by applying makeup onto their skin.

Others wear funky hats to convey their edginess, or they go for a unique hair style or a bold hair color to express their personality.

Levi Van Veluw is the type of artistic personality who likes modifying his look, but instead of using fashion as his inspiration, he turns toward nature.

Hailing from Norway, the recent Artez Art School grad has emerged into a unique photographer whose main subject these days is his own facial canvas.

Having amassed a significant collection of work in a relatively short period of time, the art world has taken note by awarding him multiple awards including the IPA Photographer of the Year.

He's had his photography on display in America as well as throughout much of Europe, and as you can see, his contextualization of facial landscapes is very distinctive and something that I don't believe has been done before.
