Reclaimed Photos Turned Into Folded Textural Works Of Art

I've been craving a spot of green artsy culture in my day, and after discovering Abigail Reynolds' folded photography works, I've found precisely the cure to what ails me.

Reynolds achieves her interesting three dimensional scenes by locating images of the same object or scene (often shot by different photographers) and morphing them into one cohesive presentation.

All of her efforts are created with entirely reclaimed materials, and while the images might have previously stagnated in dusty old bookshops and library shelves, they are reborn as works of art that make you want to reach right out and touch 'em.

"Double Cube Room" (above) is made just by cutting and tiling book plates, creating the effect of little windows that peer into the heart and soul of the room at large.

Do you think that this type of art is squeaky-green? Aren't you tempted to play with old book illustrations and photos now?
