Humble Wooden Clothespin Workhorse Repurposed Into Personal LED Lamp

Clothespins used to be an old-fashioned tool that our grandmothers relied on to hang freshly laundered sheets with, but now they are back on the cool list thanks to our increasingly more eco-conscious ways and a greater interest in taking a break from energy-sucking dryers.

I'm sure that you've seen or heard about infinite ways to gussy them up (like catyplate's "Unusual Suspects" above) but they can also be repurposed in a lot of practical ways.

ReadyMade's interesting clothespin lamp is one such example, but Korean designer Sungho Lee has thought of an even better, far less fussy solution...one that will help out even the most well-lit homeowner.

By attaching an LED light to the wooden workhorse, it becomes an illuminated lamp that can either prop up handwritten reminders or keep the pages of your book open. Simply marvelous!!
