Eco-Friendly Strollers

Ok, I have a confession to make. I have stroller envy. Whenever I am out and about I can't help but notice the plethora of strollers on the street. (I currently have 3, each serving a distinct purpose). There is one that I have always wanted (even before my son was born), but I never purchased because it just seems that there is no perfect stroller. Each has its pros and cons. In this case, the one that I love it just too heavy for running errands and taking in and out of the car. After months of research and careful consideration, including comparing specs on Strollers Direct, I opted for a Baby Planet stroller, for my errand running and every day use. (I also have a Baby Jogger for exercise). The price was great and what the company stands for even cooler.

The Baby Planet Mission:

To enrich the lives of the people who come in contact with our products;
To provide a safer, more comfortable environment for the child;
To create a more durable alternative that makes more sense for a caregiver's daily use;
To protect and restore the planet in which we live;
To give back to the communities we affect;
To improve and enrich the world that surrounds your baby.

Check this out! They even have a recycling program. Baby Planet is very concerned with the current state of the environment and the continued overcrowding of landfills by discarded consumer products. In an effort to reverse this negative trend they would like to help you recycle your Baby Planet product. Additionally, they also like to do their part to help families in need by helping you to donate your usable products. Click here to learn more about Baby Planet.

That's all for now from Ana Cabán, La Buena Life.

    Wow! That is just awesome. I have four kids and have probably owned at least half a dozen strollers, all of which have been passed onto friends. Where they go from there is a mystery, but I suspect it would a landfill. Companies that supply us with real options such as the ones you mentioned are laying the groundwork for responsible and ethical consumerism. On another note......how are you doing sans sucre?

      Yeah, great company, right? I think so.

      On the sugar note, (or lack thereof), I am doing surprisingly well. If you check out www.SugarFreeChallenge.com today you will see that I indulged in some cold desserts, all in the name of research. I sampled several "ice creams' made with unrefined sugar. They were all quite tasty, but I am not about to eat them everyday. I actually am not craving sweets at all these days. I think that the hardest part was the first 4-5 days. Since then it has been pretty easy. Now I am just upping my cardio, so that I can fit into my favorite jeans by month's end.
