Follow Greenwala and we Will Adopt a Turkey

Hey Greenwalas! 

Thanks to all of you out there, the green community and wonderful content on the site continues to grow on a daily basis.  We appreaciate all of you out there for visiting everyday and being part of the green community here on Greenwala.

We are very close to 10,000 Twitter followers (only 500 to go) and 2,000 Facebook Fans (only 70 to go), so to help celebrate, we want to Adopt-A-Turkey for Thanksgiving this year. We need your help to reach these numbers and the quicker we get there, the sooner we will adopt two turkeys for the community!

Ellen Degeneres is supporting a great Adopt-A-Turkey program and she says "Save a life this Thanksgiving, and join me in starting a new tradition by adopting a turkey instead of eating one through Farm Sanctuary's Adopt-A-Turkey Project."   Lots of other celebrities are joining in on this great cause as well such as Gennifer Godwin, Linda Blair, Alicia Silverstone, Corey Feldman, Casey Affleck just to name a few.
