The contests page went live at the end of June and quickly became a
favorite spot for fellow Greenwalas. The contest platform allows for
the members of the community to interact in a fun and creative way
while supporting a cause and helping raise awareness of a eco-friendly
corporate brand name.
The contests generated over 150K+ direct engagements and Greenwala community members won over $5,000 worth of prizes from the various contests and giveaways this year! We are looking forward to running new fun and creative contests and giveaways in the upcoming year!

Amazon Kindle a Week Giveaway:
Week 1: Gia Machlin: What a fantastic surprise to win a free Kindle from Greenwala!! I've wanted a Kindle for a while now, and this is just such a nice unexpected gift from the amazing folks at Greenwala! Love the community you have built - keep up the great work!
Week 2: Leah Bloom: I love that Greenwala's contests encourage people to think green and be proud of their eco-focused efforts. I was happy to spread the word about the site by participating in the Kindle contest, because Greenwala is a good place to find easy ways to make your life a little more sustainable.
Week 3: Laura Fortino: I was introduced to Greenwala by a friend who designed a shirt and
needed votes on her green design, so I logged in and I became a member
and voted. As soon as I joined I received a real Welcome message. It
was actually written to me by the creator/s of Greenwala, not just some
form they send out. I posted my wedding and received a lot of friendly
congratulations. Greenwala seems to be a community of really lovely
caring green people which is exactly who I aspire to be. In short,
It's my peeps.

Greenwala.com has become a daily routine for myself and many others.
Through shared videos and blogs, I have learned how to be green in
almost every aspect of my life. I have been able to make many friends
within the site and pass along helpful green tips as well. I enjoy
contributing to the Greenwala contests, in hope that I can get large
amounts of people to join the community themselves. I hope to continue
to spread the green word because it's a word I believe the rest of the

Second Place: Nicole Meehan: I have only recently gotten involved with Greenwala. I love to make crafts especially ones that use recycled items from around the house. I have learned alot through Greenwala and thoroughly enjoy learning new ideas for living a green life every day.
Third Place: Jessica Wilson: My husband and I really get a kick out of upcycling, repurposing and growing our own food. Greenwala.com is a nifty network for finding more like minded folk! Greenwala,com is almost easy enough for me to figure out and that's saying something! Entering our costumes in the Green Your Halloween contest was fun. Everything except for the ping-pong ball eyes and the green dye was recycled for our mad cap costumes.

Participating in the Greenwala Cutest Eco Pet contest was a very interesting experience. The way people got on board voting, was amazing. In a way, it brought a big group of
people together, from many different friend groups, who were 100% behind my hopes of using the Petco gift card to purchase grooming supplies so I can volunteer at my local animal shelter.
Clean, fresh smelling,groomed animals behind bars are going to be much more adoptable. Just think, not waisting dogs, hows that for a Eco Pet!

Bonus Winner - For Cutest Entry: Caitlin Rivers I loved this contest! It was so great to see so many furry family members working to make this world a better place. I love how Greenwala blends eco-consciousness into a social network. It's wonderful to have an online home where we can find similarly minded people.
