Earlier today, PETCO celebrated their Naturals Pet Products line with the Natural Neighborhood Festival in Santa Monica, CA. The festival was held just south of the Santa Monica pier and was filled with all sorts of doggy fun! The focus of the celebration was to educate the public that PETCO has the largest assortment of natural and organic pet foods of any national pet store.
The event started with a Doggy Yoga Class hosted by Amy Stevens and hosted other events and speakers throughout the day. Natural Balance's Tillman the skateboarding bulldog was a big hit and Dr. Becker, a veternarian and author of over 20 pet books spoke about how to green your pets.
Several natural and organic petfood vendors like Natural Balance, Halo, Blue Buffalo and more were a part of the event handing out all sorts of free samples and advice. There were also booths for Dog grooming, massages, training and pet adoptions by Jason Debus Heigel Foundation (which was started by the family of actress Katherine Heigl).
PETCO Naturals is a line of toys, shampoos, cleaning products and supplies made from all natural eco-friendly materials to help reduce your pet's carbon paw print. The Naturals product line is available in all 1,000 PETCO locations and the launch was also celebrated mini versions of the Natural Neighborhood Festival.
