Remake Your Cute Tins Into Useful Magnets

tincansMagnet.jpgGive pretty spice or candy containers a new life in seconds by turning them into refrigerator magnets. Place a small, powerful magnet inside the back of an empty tin, which makes the tin itself magnetic. (Nonmetallic containers will work if you stick an adhesive magnet on the outside.)

I love this idea for a kids playroom to hold all their pencils, pens, scissors, rulers, crayons, legos, cars, toys etc.

This idea is from MarthaStewart.com

Maybe an eco-conscious teen could use these in their locker. Also, teachers have magnetic white boards, and these would be great gifts to store the white board markers!
