For the last couple of years I have been attending a weekly twitter party called #EcoWed (short for Eco Wednesday). This twitter party was started by Jennifer Taggart of The Smart Mama, Alicia Voorhies of The Soft Landing and Sommer Poquette of Green and Clean Mom. At the time they were known as 3 Green Angels. After they went their separate ways, Jennifer took over the party. During this time it has been one of the most popular twitter parties focused on green living.
Over recent weeks Jennifer started to burn out and decided she didn't have the time or energy to put into #EcoWed anymore. She asked if anyone wanted to take over #EcoWed and I immediately responded. I just couldn't let this well-respected, educational twitter party end. My plan is to bring in some sponsors for future parties to bring in some fun prizes.
#EcoWed focuses on topics related to green, nontoxic and natural living. Each week is a different topic. Tonight we'll be talking about DIY alternatives to toxic halloween makeup and hair color.
