That Dude Kermit Was Right.....

...It ain't easy being green. For a frog, however, that lot in life comes naturally. Humans are a completely different animal in every sense of this very sentence, though. We basically corner the market when it comes to embracing what occurs naturally when it benefits us cheaply, while at the same time doing the exact opposite when the price disagrees with our cable budget, or some forgotten Celebutantes are suddenly noticed for declaring that that is no longer "hot." 

*insert global warming joke here* 

But sometimes, there's a man: a man with a green thumb and equally green vision; a man of oddball, but nevertheless lovable, quirks, some involving a combination of hall closets and somnabulism; that special guy with a heart so pure in intent that he can charm the most seemingly responsible of women into joining a great-idea-at-the-time venture to completely renovate a second floor apartment in the middle of Nashua, NH, turning it into the first truly eco-friendly residence of the area. Sometimes, there's that guy....You know, the one who wants all the neighbors to tidy up, behave, and recycle, and just might leave flaming bags of poop on their doormat in the event of any failure to do so (taking great care, of course, to use paper instead of plastic). A simple man...A man who just wants to improve the quality of a community that still appears to be inexplicably avoided more often than most M. Night Shyamalan films, despite his years of effort. I think I've stolen enough schticks from semi-classic film and television for now, but I'll never forget this man. Namely, because I'm going to marry him in 2011, and this is our story.
