The Brand - Scotch Naturals

Recently, I had the pleasure of introducing you to one of my favorite new non-toxic water based nail-polish brands. The name is Scotch Naturals. I actually found the brand initially during my search for non-toxic nail polish for my niece. I found the childrens line from the same founder called HopscotchKids. Here is a bit about the lovely founder Ginny and how this journey began:

Scotch Naturals was founded in 2009 by Phoenix mom Ginny Cardenas. After developing Hopscotch Kids, a line of non-toxic nail polish for little ones, she and her team realized there was an equal demand for an eco-friendly, salon-quality polish for adults. With that in mind, they developed Scotch Naturals.

Scotch Naturals is a line of water-based, non-toxic polish that is free of the harsh chemicals found in most solvent-based polishes. Designed to nourish and strengthen nails with repeated use, it is non-yellowing, and requires no base or top coat. The line currently includes 17 vibrant colors and a polish remover.

Other water based nail polish brands are OK at best. Some of my past complaints about other brands have been that they are slow to dry and easy to flake off. This is the absolute opposite with Scotch Naturals. I was really pleasantly surprised at how beautifully they colors set. I even applied a thick layer in the evening and fully expecting some crinkles in my nails in the morning. However, they were still shiny and sleek in the morning. After about a week of wear, there was barely a flake that came off. And this is with washing dishes, cleaning house and taking care of a kiddo. Love it!
