A new nature reserve is coming to South Korea, fully equipped with eco domes, an educational center, and the origin for environmental thinking and planning. This beautiful dome is covered in greenery with the most modern and intricate designs and scuptures. This eco dome is a project under the SAMOO company, which looks much like the Eden Project in Europe. This project is named The Ecorium Project, however, and will act as a place of learning and reinventing for our eco systems around the world.

The Ecorium Project involves:
A 33,000 sq meter nature reserve including a large wild plant area and a wetland reserve. In the center of the park is a large system of interlinking wedge-shaped greenhouses. These greenhouses will feature advanced systems capable of adjusting the internal conditions based on the outside climatic conditions in order to minimize energy usage indoors. The exterior of each greenhouse is built out of metal panels, low-iron and low-e double glazing, as well as wood and plexiglass. Seen from above the greenhouses will appear as a sinuous river.
These sure are a lot of attributes for one building to have, but they make it so much easier to study and observe an eco-systems inner workings for the progression of environmentally friendly projects as well as how to sustain the environment so it can go on living with us.
