Whirlpool dips its toes into the green kitchen design waters when crafting this year's newest edition of Eurocucina, showcased at Milan Design Week. This kitchen is so eco-friendly, you may even ask how it is able to run properly. However, Whirlpool has generated this kitchen to work in every way a normal kitchen would, the difference being seen in the design of the structure, as well as how environmentally-friendly all the appliances and designs are in general. Made to match an eco-system prototype, this kitchen is incredibly conducive to any eco-need.

EcoKitchen has various interconnectivity between the appliances, designed to save on electricity and energy. This kitchen is so resourceful, even saving on time for the on-the-go chef. This futuristic kitchen is sleek, with clean white edges that would match any decor. The appliances included in this kitchen are a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, over, garbage disposal, and much more.

One of the biggest add-ons to this kitchen is its intelligent induction cooker. Because this appliance can avoid heat loss as well as calculate the amount of water specified for cooking, it saves on both energy and water bills. You can save up to 25% on consupmtion of both of these resources, allowing the planet to breath a little easier. Not only is water conserved, it is also recycled. For example, the water used from cooking is routed back to the sink faucet, and when used there, it is rerouted to the dishwasher. This saves even more on water consumption. Not only is this kitchen responsible for water consumption, but also saves on energy as well. Instead of the traditional way of heating water, solar panels are incorporated to heat the water needed for cooking or cleaning.

According to Inhabitat.com, there is more to this kitchen than meets the eye:

"Aside from all of these eco-friendly amenities, a handy-dandy resource assistant located in the countertop monitors consumption, costs, and indicates other information useful for cooking. And it can even program different appliances to automatically do a task, like dishwashing! Hopefully Whirlpool will be moving their eco-systems off the tradeshow floors and right into our own kitchens soon!"

Wow. In fact this one calls for very many Wows!!!!! .....I am so very fascinated to see all the built-in capabilities and efficiencies of the system. I wish this kind of stuff comes to the market place pretty pronto. If the cost to make over to this system is reasonable, I would switch right away. Aesthetically too it looks pretty sleek and nice. I like contemporary stuff. Elise, thanks for the good post.
