Extra Amazing Eco Motorcycles

With more and more people interested in greener forms of
transportation, motorcycles consistently prove to be the most efficient
options, both economically and environmentally. With motorcycles already
having boasted the highest MPG for any personal transport, now
contemporary and forward thinking companies are upping the ante with
their super efficient motorbikes. It is no wonder that business models
are moving towards environmentally friendly options, as customers are
demanding such technological innovations. Here are a couple of the most
innovative eco motorbikes out there.

Mavizen TTX02 - this motorbike is the first of its kind in the entire
world. Not just a prototype, this production ready motorbike retails at
around $38,000. This means that it actually costs around half as much as
a comparable gas guzzling race bike! This motorbike is primed for
racing with a top speed of 130 mph and a range of 25 plus miles, however
it can be made road legal depending on the consumer's location and with
a thorough understanding of the local laws and regulations on these
kinds of motorbikes. The powertrain is easily removable, rechargeable,
and highly customizable, meaning that charge time can be negated, and
that it can easily be adapted for other applications.

Vectrix_VX-2.jpg

Vectrix VX-2 - A few years ago this company manufactured an electric
scooter that found popularity among a broad range of consumers, from
environmentalists to the NYPD. However, there was demand for something
with a little more power that could reach highway speeds, and this is
Vectrix's answer. Ridiculously affordable at around $4,300, this is the
easiest way to get into electric vehicles. Charging takes around six
hours, however this is done with a standard electrical socket - no
special outlets needed. There are some limitations, however, as the
range on this bike is only 40 to 50 miles, so it would limit you to
mostly in-town excursions. The maximum speed is 30 mph. The cost
breakdown is outstanding, coming out to about a penny a mile to run!
Nothing beats this for personal transport.

Brammo Motorbikes - with four electric models to chose from ranging from
small in-town motorbikes to racer bikes, this company is very
innovative. Their Enertia and Enertia Plus motorbikes are ready for
purchase, costing around $5,000 to $9,000. The Enertia has no gears or
shifts to operate, making it easy and smooth to ride. With a range of
20+ to 40+ miles (depending on speed) and a top speed of 60 MPH, it is
perfect for in-town trips. The Enertia Plus has a larger range of 40+ to
80+ miles with a top speed of 60 MPH.

Electric Eco bikes need specialised motorbike insurance you can even get this from online compays these days and you will find it to be good value compared to conventional bike insurance. So get set up and hope to see you out for a green burn on the open road soon.
