If you're a nerd, 50 percent nerd, or just like to dip your toes in nerd waters every so often, you're probably aware that this week is SHARK WEEK.
That's right. The one week a year when the Discovery Channel runs crazy shark programming every day and night – there's so much shark info, you might just pass out.
With shows titled things like "Shark City," "Killer Sharks," "Summer of the Shark," "Into The Shark Bite," and "Top 5 Eaten Alive," you can expect that Discovery is set and ready to terrify you to the point of reconsidering of any kind of ocean experience ever again.
Andy Samberg is onboard this year as well, practicing his role as Chief Shark Officer. I used to think they couldn't make Shark Week any better than it already was, but add a little comedy to show after show of people diving into shark infested waters and spreading chum everywhere, and you've got my entire week planned out right there.
