Fashion is something that will never die, as my own personal opinion; in fact, it will keep growing and growing. Now, many designers have turned into the eco-friendly designing madness, or new eco-friendly designers are starring to appear, so they could make a difference in the planet Earth. Fashion has been going green for a while now, and it is becoming a trend for the fashion industry. Not only, it will make you look trendy, but also it will make you save money. According to the article, “The Eco Fashion Revolution: Getting Consumers to Care About What They Wear,” mentions that fashion is following the ethics of using recycled leather in shoes, or some crafters are into knitting shopping totes from cut-up plastic bags, or weave purses from old seatbelts. Brita Belli states, “Refashion has taken the idea of vintage to a new level.” In other words, vintage is the new style.

Being aware of the new eco-friendly fashion, whenever we are going to throw away clothes or things that we think we do not need, we could think twice before doing it. Instead of getting rid of thing that you may think you do not need, think of how can you reuse them; you could even design a funky, new, and stylish fashion line with your own clothes; that way you dress how you like, and do not need to spend money to go buy new clothes for a while.
Even though, many designers are using sustainable and organic fabrics, it does not mean that they want their styles to look like a recycle bag. They are making them stylish and fashionable, and less obvious that they are environmentally friendly. However, they understand the importance of taking care of the environment; that is why many of the big clothing companies such as GAP, Banana Republic, H&M and more are part of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Corporation. This corporation, it helps and promotes environmentally, socially and economically sustainable cotton cultivation globally.
