THE GREAT EXPERIMENT - OUR FUTURE

We are experiencing a massive new paradigm shift on Planet Earth. For the first time in human history we are consciously witnessing and participating in our own evolution.  You may have noticed that many of the old ways of doing things no longer work and old operating structures and old models for relationships are disintegrating.   Traditional, accepted time lines seem to be collapsing and everything has a feeling of  speeding up – demanding change and change Now!

There is no road map for where we are going.  We will have to remain flexible to get through it, dropping old worn-out barriers and lines of division and separation. New foundation stones for our the way we "do" life will have to be laid and this will include both our personal, business, collective relationships and our relationship with the Natural World.

These criteria will be based on what is for the greater good of the whole and this whole will and must include Nature and all her beautiful inhabitants.  New and most unusual business alliances are forming worldwide on a daily basis. Communities of common interest are forming all around the world in this great movement toward wholeness. The world is re-thinking how we “do” our lives.

A great opportunity is before us.  We can turn fear into adventure; competition into co-operation; me into we; exclusion into inclusion; and separation into unity, embracing each other and all things as essential to the greater whole.  We are all in this together and no-thing and no one will escape this gigantic shift taking place. We will have to exercise compassion and patience as we experiment with
new creative approaches and innovations in our efforts to restore
balance to our world.

As the global consciousness and efforts continue to gather toward a greater harmony and restoration of our severely depleted and damaged environment and we will begin to feel more reconnected to the whole organic web of life and to each other, we will again be celebrating the wonder and beauty all around us – in Nature, in ourselves and in each other.

In this modern age, we spend so much time indoors, focused on the busyness of our lives and disconnected from the earth. But much of what we truly need can only be found under the naked sky, alongside tall trees, on open plains, or in the sound of running water. Spending time in nature allows us to commune with other living beings and to find comfort in the nurturing embrace of Mother Earth.

I feel calm, assured and whole with Nature.  Staying connected to Nature grounds me, opens my heart, my fears dissipate and a great sense of peace swells up in my being.

flower_in_lava.jpgNature shows me the way. She calls on us to gaze in awe at her splendor.  She is ever changing with so much grace, surrendering to each moment, each species committed to fulfilling their own purpose in the greater scheme of things, working in perfect symbiotic harmony.  Nature is so benevolent, so generous, so flowing, and so unconditional in her giving.  She is constantly flowing and interacting with all life and elements around her.  She is calling for us to reembrace her as a full partner in our lives.  She is showing us the way.

Reconnect to Nature as often as you can.  Pay attention to the wonderful shapes, textures and many shades of green in the trees as you pass by; observe the scampering squirrels running across the road.  Wind down the car window; turn off the air-conditioning and feel the gentle breeze your face.  Listen to the symphony of birds chattering away and their meditative flight. ; watch the towering clouds in the blue sky.  It is everywhere – this magnificent beauty. Gardens offer us a perfect opportunity to reconnect to our true selves and remember our place in the natural world.

This is a global shift. It will require a lot of change - a lot of courage and a lot of compassion for ourselves and toward each other.   We will need to remain constantly aware of our daily habits, our addictions, our perceived "must haves" and regularly do a thorough "house-cleaning" of all the old, worn-out, no-longer-working behaviors that neither serve me nor others.

Here are some other suggestions I came across this morning.  Thought I'd share them with you.  Please feel free to share tips you have found to keep you center, grounded and peaceful within as we go through this time of renewal and regeneration.
