In Gaza City, manufacturing, carpentry, woodwork, mechanics, metallurgy, industrial agriculture and construction have all nearly ground to a halt.

MIDDLE EAST, GAZA CITY: Suffering under years of economic siege Gaza’s previously middle-income economy is now relying on scraps to keep itself afloat. Manufacturing, carpentry, woodwork, mechanics, metallurgy, industrial agriculture and construction have all nearly ground to a halt.
We never know what we can truly do without until it is all gone and we have to rely on anything we can get our hands on to rebuild to survive. Gratefulness for what we do have, while we have it, seems in order here when there are so many struggling with far less around the world. War seems so useless and out of date.
