President Obama says the US should depend less on oil and more on clean energy. In my judgment this philosophy makes immense sense for US as well as for the global economy. China is far ahead of US in pursuing clean energy policies. US with all its brain power and economic might need to be ahead of every one else to lead in this field. As the situation looks to me, the country that is in the forefront of clean energy, may be the one that would be ahead in the future global economy too. As such, all the powers-that-be in the US, need to put their heads together and vigorously pursue a single minded goal of implementing clean energy policies. Creating jobs through the development of clean energy is the way to go.
