Do a lot of printing?

Coffee drinker? Do a lot of printing? Here's a printer that uses old coffee grounds instead of expensive ink.

The only catch is that the RITI coffee printer is just a design concept for the moment. If the printer existed you could pour old grounds into a cartridge but in order to create an image you'd have to manually move the printing mechanism back and forth. It's all very eco-friendly, but it also sounds like a bit of a pain.  Maybe with a bit more test and prototypes, they could be on to something amazing here!  I know some of you who work at large offices use a lot of coffee, now here's a way to recycle it.

Bloody brilliant!!! We have "used" coffee grounds coming out of our ears and I've been saving them in several massive ziplocks (filter and all) along with eggshells for that lofty garden that I have yet found the time to dig. So, my seedlings are still without a permanent home and my bags 'o grounds-n-shells are just a wee bit moldy at this point. I think this concept would be embraced by everyone (just like the renaissance that the old fashioned push mower is having) because none of us like to cough up $30 - $50 smackers for an ink cartridge and yet you can't always just SCAN docs -- sometimes you are forced to print them. I don't know where you found out about this but BRAVOOOOOooo! I love it :)
